The Office of the Mayor is the central hub of leadership and governance in our municipality. Led by the elected Mayor, this office is responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, ensuring efficient public services, and representing the community's interests. With a focus on progress, inclusivity, and transparency, the Mayor works closely with local government officials, departments, and residents to foster a thriving and sustainable community for all.

Objectives

  • Crisis Management and Disaster Response: Lead efforts in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery to protect the community from unforeseen events.

  • Social Welfare: Support initiatives that improve the quality of life for all residents, particularly vulnerable groups, by ensuring access to social services and opportunities for all.

    • Police and Fire Services: Ensuring that local law enforcement and fire departments are adequately funded, staffed, and equipped to maintain public safety.

    • Emergency Services: Coordinating and overseeing local emergency response systems for natural disasters, accidents, and other crises.

  2. Infrastructure and Urban Planning

    • Road Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and development of local roads, bridges, and public transport systems.

    • Urban Development: Ensuring that zoning laws, building permits, and city planning align with community needs, safety standards, and sustainability goals.

    • Waste Management: Organizing and managing garbage collection, recycling programs, and waste disposal services.
